Back at It Again, Texas!

Hi Frands,

It’s me again! Thanks for your extended patience with some ongoing career developments. One of which was working on this Apple project that will be released sometime soon, stay tuned. I’m venturing back with some road dates here and there, the first being a residency at Amphibian Theatre in Fort Worth, Texas from April 2-6, 2019. I added it to my show schedule page! And thank you for all the kind words re: the Super Bowl Bubly spot. Please watch Corporate, Season 2, currently airing on Comedy Central, Tuesdays at 10:30 p.m.

Thanks for your ongoing enthusiasm and encouragement, it truly means a lot.

OVERDUE UPDATE ON FALL TOUR

Dear Fans and Friends,

I posted this notice in late summer on social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Craigslist, Fuzzball Enthusiast, etc.), and foolishly forgot to include it on my website. I sincerely apologize to those of you who may not have learned directly through the venues involved, but due to a very unexpected and exciting career opportunity that I am not allowed to share yet but will as soon as I able to, I have had to cancel all of my summer and fall tour dates, until further notice. But I know many of you already bought tickets and I am so disappointed to not get to see you sooner rather than later. I apologize for any inconvenience I have caused and I am continually grateful and bolstered by your warm and generous support, enthusiasm, and messages.

Thank you very much for your patience, understanding, and general ambience,
Aparna

NETFLIX SPECIAL AND FALL TOUR!!!

Hi folk singers, folk musicians, and all other types of folks,

Three big ANNOONCEMENTS (this would have been more effective had I published at noon)!

UNO) I am going on TOUR in the Fall! I hope to be stopping through your CITAY. Click on this poster (designed by mad genius Andrew Shearer) for a link to all the dates and where to buy tix or it didn’t happen.

DOS) My Netflix half-hour special as part of The Standups, Season 2 comes out this Tuesday, March 20th. TUNE IN OR TUNE ON!

Here is a trailer:

TRES) Thank you to everyone who has watched and written about and said nice or even just true things about Season One of Corporate on Comedy Central! The season finale was just this past Wednesday. But hey, wait. We got renewed for a second season (!!) AND you can still watch it here.

CUATRO CINCO SEIS BESOS PLATÓNICOS,

Aparna

Hello, welcome to my redesigned, brand-spankin’ new website!

Incidentally, tonight, Wednesday, 1/17/18 is the premiere of Corporate on Comedy Central at 10/9c, a show created by my brilliant comedic genius friends Jake Weisman, Matt Ingebretson, and Pat Bishop. It is a dark satirical look at a soulless corporation and how the employees within it barely manage to keep their heathen heads above water. I play HR rep Grace Ramaswamy on it. Here is a nice blop from Vanity Fair about the show and my journey to being on it. More updates to come soon, and hopefully I will keep this space updated more regularly.
Thank you, among many other things, for being Internet users and salut,
Aparna

Listen Up, Cuties!

Hey hey,

Here are some magical puddles I’ve gotten into as of late!

1) I have a mini-podcast on depression out with my friend/bosom buddy Jacqueline Novak. It’s available via Howl. I believe there’s a free trial offer with code word BLUE. It’s called BLUE WOMAN GROUP. I’m proud of its yammer. Our brilliant producer is Steven Valentino and helpful guide is Gretta Cohn at Midroll Media. It got a great little write up in The Daily Beast, read all about it.

2) A sketch I wrote and worked on with the brilliant Seth Reiss came out on Late Night yestereve. Czech it out here!

Onward, ya goobies! Lots of shows coming up in NY and beyond. Come on thru!

XOXO,
Gossiparna
